I kinda like the green/green on the frame/fork.
I got most of the wrinkles out of my recover by using A Sho Goo like product I would glue in a section and clamp it with those close pin type clamps then glue another section and clamp. Keep working and pretty soon you have a lot left that will make a wrinkle. Glue this part and then go back and remove some of your earlier glued on cover and readjust. You probably will have to cut out V shaped parts of the cover to avoid big overlaps. I have tried stretch vinyl and it is worse that the regular marine grade vinyl. You will still have a few small wrinkles. I used a LIGHT coat of spray adhesive on the sides to help avoid side wrinkles. Here is one of mine.So.. i rebuild the wheels ..painted rims "kaki beige" and wrapped spkoes in matt black "electric wire shrink wrap" topped it off with a nice pair of big apple brown tires.
This is the original front rim-only , or at least the one that was on the bike when we got it
doug out an old seat frame in my parts, cleaned/painted it and used a foam floor mat to make the cover..
I heated it a little bit so it take and keep its shape, and whrapped it in faux leather..
the thing is , i was planing on adding a contour with piping around the edges , but realized it is almost impossible to sow through 3 thickness of this fabric so now i don't really know what to do about all those wrinkles , how to cover/hide them , i don't really want to redo it all...
still have to true the wheels and finish the seat before showing how it looks on the bike
