From Trashpile To Treasure

A few weeks ago i got this old girls Murray Eliminator straight out of an abandoned trashpile next to an old house for 5 bucks.

Well after a lot of sanding and replacing rotten wheels tires and crank here it is today. Considering what i had to work with i think it came out pretty well.

Not bad, I just got one (a Western Flyer Fast One) that looks about as bad, maybe a little worse. But I'm keeping mine ratty. Waiting till the build off to start in on it.

Thanks. The back is an old NOS 20x2.125 and the front is a used 20x2 on aluminum rim from a trick bike. Had to swap the axle to fit the spade forks.

Nice save, I did one recently as well. Mine came from a trash pile in the woods.
