I took this pieced together relic out for a long trial run and shakedown cruise today after I made a couple of changes.
After 6 years I'll call it Cols'Nuff.
..for now...of course.

My naked bikes are my favorite.
I always wonder about what’s going on under the paint. I get nervous.
But with a bare bike, you know.
They are honest and beautiful, and I feel like maintenance is easier. You may have to rub them down with oil now and then, but that’s as much fun as riding.
Plus, a painter, I am not.

This bike is an inspiration for my jungle bike rustoration!
I'm going full 21 speed for now with v-brakes, but that rusty cool look, the front and rear racks (plus faux patina fenders for the wet season here) and your whole vibe really pretty much captures the aesthetic that I am after.
Great stuff indeed!
