Tough to put a price on something like that, even "normal" times. If it was mine, I wouldn't even consider anything short of 150 USD. I would say a lot more in a strong market. As a matter of fact, it it were mine, I'd probably just keep it. 
I have two of those. Yours is earlier than the 50's. The blue one here is from the 50's after they retooled the factory. I am not in a hurry to sell them. The ones from the 40's had the rounded crank arms.
I would guess yours falls squarely in between these two so it would have been right after the war ended. I wouldn't sell it for less than $300
You should be able to date it by the script on the hub. I am trying to remember but the post war had a different prefix than the prewar
DRR Deutsche Demokratische Republik 1949ish DBR is the Deutsche Bundesrepublik; it is a Fitchel and Sachs hub. So Tri Zone occupation era and I would treat it like a wartime bike from the U.S.. $300 is wholesale for a Monark super deluxe if you get my meaning.

It is no less valuable than any of the other WWII and it just happens to be a factory that was bombed and retooled so yeah it's on the rare bikes list man. those actually had shortened frames because of the lack of a 24" boys bike at the time. Definitely has that Stahlhelm era collectability on top of the fact it is top tier from the catalog to a just a bicycle collector. If you found it in the U.S. it is probably one a G.I. brought home for his kids. Or something someone brought with them moving to the U.S. to get out of that whole mess over there

Personally when i find a bicycle with a mix of parts from 1937 to 1949 I don't sell them. This one was a G.I. who was a cyclist during that tri zone occupation and rode it to keep in shape so he could be competitive when he got home. I bought it from his son.

German bikes are heavy and hard to sell because no one in the US knows what they are, but I have seen a lot of interest in the "export only" tank bikes on German boards. This one also has the dreaded "glockenlager" bottom bracket, which are... interesting. It's probably never been apart since the bike was new.
