I know the difference between a girl's frame and boy's frame, but how about the difference in a girl's saddle and a boys saddle? How about pedals?

Girls saddles are shorter and wider, mens have a long nose on front and skinnier back.

Women's pedals are shorter than mens pedals

And usually the girls parts,,,,ARE NOT WORN OUT!!!!

I will agree, they are usually in better shape

Some of the caliper brakes cable may be backwards since they routed them from the bottom instead of the top, sometimes grips will be shorter too (usually "juvenile 4" pedals and grips were the same as "girls")

When Bendix came out with the red band kickback the ones Schwinn put on boys bikes had 18T. The girls had 19T. They didn't want those girls going faster! :p Gary

Ahha ! I knew the seat difference but never about the pedals? :) :!:

What about these Schwinn seats ? I see the small nose on mens bikes.
