got this bike out of my grandparents shed my dad picked it up it a few years ago, now I'm gonna do some thing with it.

I've sand blasted it, now I'm filling in all the seams to give it a more continuous look

any one know what kind of bike this is? Serial number is d60911

It looks like an elgin to me with that short neck. Somebody will know for sure. Ok after looking my bottom bar looks lower.

post some pictures of the serial # (the letters & #s can help identify sometimes) also some of the rear fender stays..the way the drop outs are held in place would also help but theyre covered in mud now so i guess thats out...
could be one of many bikes the 20's/30's motobikes were kind of a generic design.......

Looks like an old Schwinn, like a B-9 motobike. Have to see how the frame stays go from the seat clamp down. ~Adam
