Last Tuesday I went for a bike ride with @MlpsCoster (but that’s a story for later) on the ride home I found this Workman quadcycle the local coffee/bike shop was letting go for free to a good home.
All four tires had about 4 pounds of air and it was rush hour in Chicago. I made the ride 3 to 4 miles without incident. (Legs were sore the next day)
So lucky I have a spot to park this in the back yard.. Do you think the landlord will notice
I was hesitant at first to take this. But it turned out behind the wood box was a well built steel frame. Lots of cargo space potential. I’ve been taking the box apart for the past few days and today after work. Got the tires aired up and chain lubed. Rides like a track bike now! up next black plumbing pipe handlebars no drops on this one. Those steel rings in the front are for CO2 and coffee tanks for iced coffee on tap. Going to have them knocked out and maybe a small lock box in the lower front. Can’t wait to ride this one to work. Thanks for looking!
Turns out they paid me to take it!! $11 bucks in the drawer
