Hello. Names Johnny Five. Lots, and lots of cool rides here.
I can not gaurantee that I will offer much, if any knowledge, but I will definately be patting folks on the back, and asking for help.
My daughter is almost three, and really digging her Radio Flyer trike, so I decided I would graduate her here shortly. I picked up a kid bike with training wheels from the neighbor for $5. I stripped it, and gave it a custom paint job, just need to find some new grips, pedals, seat, and bearings for the forks.
I also picked up a girls 16.5"(?) bike from another neighbor for $10, threw a cheap blacked out paint job on it, cleaned the white tires, and I use it as a bar-hopper to get back and forth from my brothers house (three doors down).
BTW, whats the difference between a girls bike, and a guys bike?
Last on my list is my lowrider bike that I got for free. After years of neglect, I finally got it dialed in - now I just need to strip it down, and give it some character.
I couldnt figure out how to post pictures. So maybe that'll be my next post?
