Good Vibrations

I just recently got an old Schwinn bike that has a Good Vibrations decal on the chain guard. when i looked into it i could only find a Huffy version. the bike i have has a schwinn badge on the front. I was wondering if the chain guard is not origional or if there was a Schwinn version

Good Vibrations= straight up copy of Schwinn design (except w/cheap welded joints, less precise jigging) your chain guard was swapped or a Schwinn badge was stuck on. Huffy joints go straight in, Schwinn are smooth rounded castings. Also Good Vibe chainstays are straight.

Some Good vibrations have a funky chainguard attachment that wouldn't on a Schwinn frame. It attaches on the lower front side of the Bottom bracket.

ive got a huffy good vibrations, 1989. not a bad riding bike at all, but its no schwinn. and my chainguard bolts onto the underside of the bb. think it was a huffy thing.
