Turns out i am working on this thing for my uncle now.
He doesnt want to sandblast it(save some money) so he has me underneath it with purple power(high powered degreaser)
cleaning it. Im about 80% done.
im getting $8 an hour, most of the profit is going to my build off bike

I dont know if i said this before...but the seats ETC. were dyed. They were originally a dark blue...
 
I have been working on my '00 Focus ZX3 & it's making me suicidal...looking at that Torino & the nice garage it's in & I'm thinking "I'd do that for $8/hr".
BTW, when they were married, my folks rode from the church in the best man's Torino fastback, a 1st gen like your uncles. I think my uncle might have had one, too. My grandpa had only 3 cars in the 20 years he was with me, one was a brown Torino wagon w/wood paneling! So I guess I've got a soft spot for the Torinos...
