Goodyear Hi-way patrol tank paint theme:

I'm very interested in how the tanks on these bikes were painted? Mine is rusted and I am unable to see the theme on the few photo's I find online. It would seem it had a 2 tone scheme possibly or something rather one solid color due to the awesome lines.

If anyone could help me out so I can paint my tank I would really appreciate it. Thanks!!
