I like that rack. The BLO is working great for the bike and the truck.

So...., little by little.

My decorative tank tabs were at one point reflectors I think! They are also essential mechanical pieces holding the tank in place!

I found some license plate reflectors online and retapped the tab.

Not perfect, but sharper than I had.

As I got the original chain ring looking like new, that thing had an awful lot of teeth on it. Grammaw ain’t got a whole lot of torque anymore. (Except after taco Tuesday... AHEM!!)

I picked up this smaller chain ring and hit the crank and seat post with black.

And uh.... picking a saddle for grammaw is sort of like picking a mattress for the princess and the pea!!!

Actually, after a few days with Grammaw, the princess would probably be like “lady, I thought I was bad! You need to take a break!!!!!”

So, I attempted a saddle and am awaiting complaints. My friend put one of these on his Sears bike and it’s super nice.

Good enough for me, but Grammaw???

We’ll have to see.

Those Cloud 9 saddles are very comfy. And well made. My wife is on year 8 or 9 with hers. Showing some wear, but the integrity of the gel and construction is just like day one. And she puts on around 1200-1500 miles a year. And, she's a 'great grammaw' now.
(Don't tell her I told you that!) :wink1:

I really like the Shelby-ish chainring!!

Were any Goldfish harmed during the painting of that seatpost?

HaHa!!! Funny story, I Rigged this thing up n sprayed it and let it sit all night.

I can see my work area from my upstairs bathroom.

Sure enough, next morning I get up to do my thing and I look out there, and I can’t see my seat post!!!

What the heck!!!!??? It’s gone!!!

After further review, some critter must have tried to get some goldfish crumbs as the post was on the ground and the box was 3-4 feet from the post...,lol

Uh.... I have like 4 builds going on right now. Where was I on this thing again?

Lol.

I guess I put on the rear rack to size it up and see what’s next.

I need to go on a hardware run for the rack and to finish my ‘65 Rollfast build.

I ordered a chrome chain for this. Tough call vs. black, but I wanted a little pop. Hope it works and doesn’t look tacky.

I also ordered some black bow-tie pedals. Should look cute.

Meh.... I threw it together to take a ride around the lake with my wife tonight.

Still a long way to go.

I’d like to add a front and rear basket and some other goodies to make Grammaw feel at home.

My eBay guy shipped me the wrong pedals so these are temp as they process my return.

I also need grips (black) and a final detail....

BUT...... it is together and rideable. (I hope!)
