Grandfather’s Cruiser Getting New Life!

Hi everyone! New to the forums and thought I’d share this work in progress. It’s a 1970’s Raleigh, no indication of what model but looks kinda like a 4000x. The bike had been sitting for probably 15 years in a shed so before really doing anything major I cleaned her up, put on a new seat, flipped the bars, new grips, new tires, new tubes, new chain, and a new rear wheel, and removed the chain guard.

That straight leg bmx style fork is killer. Nice bike. Suggestion? Ride the heck out of it!

Thanks! That’s the plan for sure. Fork is spaced for a vintage hub so gently widening it now to fit a more modern wheel to match the rear.
