The first is a cheapie stretch springer...I stuffed a nexus 3 hub and a 26x3 tire on the back....have about an 1/8 inch clearance on the stays....

the 2nd is a $100 craiglist find....it's a Deviate Tension...made by Nirve...pretty much the same geometry as a switchblade.

~LOL~....crazy and totally original down to the red sparkle grips...

It's a full chrome frame Huffy...has the original dual redline front tire...the rear tire, seat and chain guard have been replaced over the years.

I've never been able to figure out what model it was....similar to a dragster...but I've haven't seen any with the ramshorns and a chrome frame.

greetings from over the hill in the 949, stantlin. Are there good places to ride in Riverside? Do you ever throw 'em in the truck and drive to the beach?

Updating with a picture of my next project...hopefully it will be finished and in southern california sometime next week.

NoNameCustom Joker with a mid tube...

i love his frame designs. why no rear end building something custom for it?

Stantlin, your Huffy looks to be a 68 model. What Is the serial number. It shouls be on the rear dropout. The first digit Is a number and the second Is probably an H. The first digit will be the last digit In the year of the bike. The chain guard probably once said Cheater Slick In smaller letters and Modified In larger letters. I have a catalog pic of It. Kenny.

68 would be exactly right....I've got 1968 Christmas pictures when I got it next to the tree.

I'll check the serial number and post it here. I'd love to see the catalog picture if you would email it to me.

Here's the picture with the rear end....it hadn't been completed in the first set of pictures Jay sent me. I've got pictures of bent tubing and set up in his jig....which by the way is one incredible jig.
