Just came into stewardship of an old Schwinn (#N90563 Phantom , Wasp ?) and have been having a ball freshening the grease throughout , making some short putt putt's in the neighborhood and just admiring it over a pint after work. Although it's missing more than a few part's what it does have is still original and in suprisingly good shape. Entry $ was 100 dollars and after seeing how expensive stuff is for these have decided to get ideas from all of you and build it up as a shop bike for a friend's newly started garage that restores and customizes earlier 930 Porsches. I plan on presenting it to him and hope to get inspiration from this site . So many beautiful machines here , If this one even aproaches some of them , I'll be a happy man .
