Hi everyone. Been lurking about the site for a while so thought I better introduce myself. I'm mal from Scotland. I love the bikes here and i mostly tinker with old Raleigh bikes. I'm In love with the schwinn stingray krate bikes but they're hard to find over here. Toys r us are selling a new version here (probably made in China I'd guess) for £150. (About $200) does anyone know if they're any good? Should I buy? Cheers everyone and ths nos for having me[emoji4]

You do a lot of tinkering with that Stingray!

But if you want a quality Stingray, I'd get a jar and label it "Stingray" and put the 150 in there and add to it occasionally until a Chicago made Stingray or Krate shows up.

So.......I went back to toys r us after reading the write up on this forum about the new lemon peelers being sold on amazon. This bike has been in my head! They only had one left, the display one so I picked it up for £100 (around $125) I know it's not Chicago quality (made in Taiwan!) But I really like it and it will scratch my itch 'till a real one shows up[emoji38]

Seems like decent buying to me! Just keep the chrome waxed up to stop rust and it will be all good!
