Time to move on, the Greater Depression is coming. ATT stopped Worldnet and I lost all the image links.

SD is where I was introduced to the beach cruiser, everyone bar hops on a bike there. I brought a couple of my cruisers back to MI with me and became the weird old bike guy. Thats a nice wave for Mission Beach almost looks more like OB. Nice collection of bikes, that Monark springer looks great on your Nirve and that Schwinn is awsome. Welcome to the group...Kelly

Thanks for the welcome!

The red Schwinn appears to be a '48 from the S/N E42956 and some other indicators, not in bad shape considering it's been in a garage 100 yards from the pacific for the last 20 years. Whoever painted it red didn't do a good job so the original is right underneath, could get it back I think but there are some rust issues. Heck with it, just blast and rattle it. Drive train needs a serious going over, broken spokes, riims are rough.

Kelly, good eye for waves, it's defintely not an MB beach break kind of wave, it's North County just south of Swamis on a nice reef break closer to where I live.

Hooch, I didn't mean to imply the brand of cruiser was a Mission Bay, it actually started life as a Nirve Inferno model, now peppered with closeout BMX parts and the monark spring fork copy. Mission Bay was referring to an area down here that is an ideal booze cruise beach area as Kelly mentioned. July 4th is unbelievable, 500,000 people(do the boob math) packed in to a beach area of several square miles, with paved bicycle lane access all the way.

20 footers in SD that is insane!! What do you ride? I was never very good but rode a 9'2" on the small waves at Turmalane (I'm not sure of spelling) and La Jolla Shores and sometimes I'd go with my room mate to OB and get beat up at the peir. Enjoy the ride...Kelly

Kelly, the .... surfboards are like bikes, ya can't just have one.

7'6" Hynson winged pin single fin, great for hollow days
8'0 & 8'6" Kies winged swallow tails, all around great boards that also handle winter power
9'8" Bruce Jones high performance longboard

10' Lance Carson all around favorite longboard
10'6" Lance Carson, big, thick , & heavy crowd control weapon insane for noseriding Scorpion Bay also

Pretty much have gotten rid of all the short boards, too old & too heavy
