Greyhound Banana Seat find........ ??

Just ran this one down. Only a couple blocks away from me. What do I have?? I think under all the customizing over the years, this was a pretty cool bike.

What I do know. Model D New Departure hub. Straight forks. Unusual design at the kickstand mounting location. Had a front fender light originally. Unusual front fender mounting at the axle.
As always, any help is greatly appreciated. Let me know if any more pics are needed....

I was wondering the same thing. The stem nut actually has a 1/8" or so gap below it the way it currently sits.....??

It is a Monark. That was a springer fork originally. Got some good parts there.

After doing a google search on Monarks, I have to agree with you. It once had a groovy twin spring fork on the front. Was unable to find a pic of one with the same "tail light" assembly.
