Everything was fine in CT as well, we got one big band of rain and by the time the later bands moved along, CT blew the storm out to Cape Cod, like a big unwanted beach ball!
We got less damage from this than from some thunderstorms, and luckily I got no water in the basement, which is the way it should be. When we had the big rainstorm on April 30, I got water in for the first time in 15 years, and now I've re-caulked around the house so hopefully it'll prevent any new runoff going where it shouldn't.
