grip resto question

ok grip gurus ....how does a guy go about gettin the worn ends 2 look good again !!!

i used citris cleaner an a stiff brissel nylon brush .. cleaned up the main part but didnt do anything for the worn out ends !!
hope someone has some info to help me out here !!! thnx in advance !!! MIKE

I normally take a wet Emory board and sand them smooth around the edges but this can also ruin grips so be extremely careful. If anyone has a better way I'd love to hear it too.

I have never done this but was wondering if you VERY CAREFULLY heat the end melting the rubber a little to allow it to fill in the rough part???

when new grips for bmx bikes i have are to tight or are to still ill boil them and it softens up the plastic. might try that.

hey thnx for the input guys ....g ratter i like ur idea ...ill give it a shot with the heat gun !!! on a common pair of grips of course !!!
