GT timberline year??

Found this on local 5 mile site... Is there a way to date this bike? serial# GT4K1533

Just guessing by the ones I've seen I'd say mid 80's.

That's what I was thinking then I found a deal on the net that gave a timeline of the history of GT and it was showing they did not make mountain bikes till 1994 ? like you posted It looks like some photos of 1980's gt bikes to me.

I had the small framed version of that exact bike for a while...it had more of a BMX cruiser look and was a very sweet bike.

Steve... I remember when you posted this bike I was drooling over it wishing I had one to add to my collection. Is the derailleur guard standard on them, I want to get all the correct parts for it if available, grips ect.

These are mid 90's gt bullets. 24" frame with 26's squeezed in. Bootleg bmx is way to go for your $$$.
