That’s some mighty fancy wood/woodwork.I’ll never want to do anything quite that pretty.I mangle them in ordinary use. ;(But I want to build a special upright electric bass. I have wanted to do this for many years, but never had time for such things.I first saw plans in a 1967-ish magazine & have always wanted to build one. It was based on a transistor tone generator with built in pre-amp.But my desires have changed a lot. Advanced modeling and construction techniques would be a plus.Also I have a very special magnet for the pickup. So far I have that, magnet wire, random hardware, some bass strings, and a rough plan.I won’t think to attack that until the project car is 100% finished.
