Handlebar fits?

Here's a softball for you: Do modern Chinese cruiser handlebars fit old American balloon bike stems? Do modern Chinese cruiser stems fit old American forks?

the 1" quill stems (3/4" quill for 1" steerer) are supposed to be interchangeable, most cruiser bars have the bulge so they are 1", if not they are 7/8"..

Handlebars, no sweat, but some of the stems are a little large.

Cruiser bars all (mostly) have 25.4mm clamps for the bars. If there bar is the same diameter throughout (like BMX bars) it's a 7/8" clamp.

1" quill stems come in two quill diameters, 22.2mm (7/8") and 21.1mm (.883").
