Turns out I screwed up the droputs on my Higgy by shortening the length of the dropout to the point where the axel doesn't have enough bite to hold on. Don't ask me why i did this.

So I'm gonna get these welded in place of the OEMs.

All I wanna do is ride this d@mn bike and I'm still messin' with fabrication.

It's still worththe aggravation though.

i was JUST going to post on here about drop outs and here it is at the top of the heap.

ive got my $5 rollfast frame that i need to either buy drop outs i like, or make some more. is there anywhere that sells drop outs?
has anyone made their own to stretch out the back wheel at all?

flamed drop outs are easy to make at home.
1 drill holes
2 connect the dots with an angle grinder
3 weld inplace

i did the same for my forks and shifter.

If you can't get ahold of 4th, try http://www.freakbikenation.com. Eric is one of our moderators. There's also some other guys on there that make dropouts. Hopefully '09 will be better for Gigs and I and we'll also be doing dropouts as well as other types of custom metal add ons. Good luck,
Chainy
