Thanks guys! I'll totally check Ace out. After it was mentioned that Naval Jelly isn't as good on bare steel, it got me back to wanting to do the oxalic acid soak. I want to really make sure I bite this rust in the butt so it doesn't come back!
If you want to kill rust on bare steel, check out Ospho. It comes in liquid quarts and gallons. A quart is a 2 year supply because it is thin as water. ACE also sells this; I bought a quart when I found out they had it. It is phosphoric acid so you gotta watch out for yourself (gloves, goggles, long sleeves) when you use it. It can be topcoated also but takes 2 days to dry and you scuff off the white residue before painting.
