Thank you. The knob came with "h", "c" and blank end caps. I think it is universal. My neighbor says she wants one. I will do a photo tutorial of it. It is remarkably simple and quick. I am really good at designing and learning to be a better builder. You guys are waaaaay ahead of me on build skills so this will be a cake walk for you.

I bought this light from this forum, and I've been waiting for the right build to add it. I did the easiest LED conversion in the world. I just stuffed it full of an LED light string, and boom! done. The battery box is under the skirt guard, easy-peasy. It's a cool light.

Was it on this site I seen some guy making lights from vintage microphones? I have looked at some great mikes, shower heads, 40s and 50s sci fi stuff and I am itching for new ideas, I am getting a new felt red baron in black when it comes to the UK and I don't really like the limited choice we have for lights so looking at new ideas, love the light in the last post, very rocketeer helmet style, right up my street.

Anyway I think this could be fantastic if I can get the guts out of it!

Did a little more work on my tin can headlight.

Also made another one.

When I think of Bikes as Art.. I feel bikes built from a scratch idea.. I think of non polished parts joining to make something with beauty and antiquity. Something when I first passed these lights some weeks ago my first time, I got the impression of. This is excellent, and I would love to make something JUST like the third picture down, yellow lens though, and maybe a green eyelid.

Bike lighting is something I enjoy building. Sometimes I use LED flashlights, sometimes I use LEDs and wire it myself.
I like to use car parts and other stuff, as you will see

And Ive even used the push lense lights

It´s an east german produced foglight from the late 50´s or early 60´s. No function yet, though. I´m planning to put a switch on top of it to operate a battery powered torch maybe.
