ya the only thing is that the 1000 lumens has a low switch power

the other one has 1200 lumens but no low light setting

im thinking the low power switch is the ticket.

might be nice to have the low power option for daytime running or saving juice on a long hual

ya the one with the low switch is for me,,,ordering as we speek for my birth day gift to my self.

CREE bulbs are great. Brightest LED I use. 5 guys in my crew, and we all carry a 3 AAA battery CREE flashlight daily, and use them an hour a day, at least. GREAT item. And power usage is good.
