I love the imagination and ingenuity you all show on this forum.
I am sort of a bike snob. Not to thumb my nose it's just anything I do I end up painting and polishing until new looking. I love that anything goes and patina is cool here.
I just got back into bicycles. The local "Western Auto", Hunter's is closing after 75 years. I stopped to visit and he only had two new bikes left. Now he only has one. I bought a "Tuesday, August 1" cruiser bike. Everything matte black but the blue frame and fork. I have a few ideas but going to remain true to the cruiser.
Aluminum frame with 26x2.35 Balloon tires. I like this bike but people ask "why is it so big". I am 5'-5" so the step over and seat height are sorta tippy toed which is fine and the forward and headset are higher but is of no concern except it does make me look short standing next to it. I do have seat and handlebars adjusted to fit so I have no plans to cut it up
