My name is Steve and I'm a bikaholic.
I grew up in Imperial Beach California and saw some of my earliest Rat bikes back in the early sixties. Our neighbors had one of those flipped over frame high risers.
Later in the 70's some dudes in highschool were "SuperSporting" old 26 inch Schwinns.
Years later while working as a Mission Beach Lifeguard I started to see really nice restorations on the boardwalk and I was hooked.
Bought my first favorite from Curtis at Via Bike in Philadelphia. A Pre War Motorbike. Then bought an old Hornet Carcass and parts for Big Red. She was painted by Gordon at the old Colley bike shop in Norfolk. My latest favortie bike is a "Supersported" Schwinn Spitfire with a two speed lever action Bendix laced to Salsa Gordo Rims for light weight.
Pictures to follow when I get home to North Carolina this week.
There are some sick bikes on this website. You should be proud.
Anybody here in Raleigh or Norfolk can feel free to call me at 757-338-0040.
