First off, what an AWESOME site!!!
Here's a little background:
43 year old, male, retired Air Force.
Was able to ride a bike (no training wheels) before my 3rd birthday, so that means I've been pedaling for almost 40 years.
Got into the mountain biking scene in the late 80's. Raced in the sport class in Southern California from 91-96...then rode recreationally until arthritis got my right knee in 05'...
Now my 22lb disc-braked, XTR, carbon/Ti hardtail hangs on the wall in my garage next to my full suspension carbon K2...collecting dust.
Bikes have always been in my blood...now it's time to go low & slow..
Bought a new Electra Sparker a week ago...(I'm a Harley guy, and just simply couldn't pass up the Black/Orange paint scheme).
I'm looking for the freewheel scene around St Louis...
