Hello from Western Nebraska

Greetings from the southwest panhandle of Nebraska.

I'm glad I found this site! Thanks for all of the information, ideas and great bikes. I'm looking forward to sharing some of my projects soon. I always tinkered on bikes as a kid, but hadn't done much until I found a nice Murray Monterey sitting in a metal pile at the recyclers a few years ago. They were happy to let me take it home and that's when I caught the bug. I'm currently gathering parts for an old Hiawatha. While it's too small for me to ride, it will be great to see another piece of vintage iron move again.

It's not currently a build project, but I wanted to post a picture of my daily rider. Since I live in a rural town with all gravel streets, I pieced together this bike from some leftovers so I wasn't beating up something more valuable to me.
