the tire is barely touching the frame but the chain is rubbing the tire i was thinking of trimming the thread off but i notice i wont do anything is there a need trick or tips or do i have to just buy the extended rear sprocket ?

A couple things to try. Flip the rear cog if it is offset towards the hub. Add another spacer washer on the crank between the bearing race and front sprocket. Lastly you may be able to find a thinner nut on the rear axle to move it outboard.
