help date my 24" schwinn

i need help dating my schwinn the serial # is k02750 and i located on the rear of the frame.
it has the skiptooth sprocket, and the feather style chainguard.
the headbadge holes are about 2 1/4 apart.

can sombody let me kno wut i have.

Yep, its a May 53 bike.

Going through the 53 Catalog, it only shows 4 different ballooner models that are 24". From the looks of these illustrations, only the Phantom and Hornet had the full chainguard, and the Hornet has the same paint trim as yours, so I would say it's a Hornet. The name should be on the chainguard, maybe painted over, but the outline may show through.
