Help ID this vintage find...

Picked this up today. Bent steering tube, no head badge, star chainring, Troxel saddle, and coaster brake that I can not make out and spray bombed. I'll post a pic.

Anyway, what is this beast?

frame murray? coast king? I had the same coaster brake on a coast king. komet.
the chainring is from a amf. the chainguard looks like a jc Higgins. frankenbike?

I've been told by a buddy that he thinks its a Cleveland Welding.

He's not too far off. CWC sold to AMF around 1954 and AMF swallowed the parent company, taking over operations completely by the late 50s. This appears to be all AMF circa 1959-61ish.

It's so gratifying when what's under the housepaint starts to magically appear, isn't it?

Yes it is. Too bad it couldn't have been saved, but I plan on replacing the lettering with decals. Cool think about this bike is that the AMF plant was right here in Little Rock, AR.

Now I need to find a fork for it as mine is bent badly.
