I didn’t use the word definitely but I could have. The bike is definitely a Snyder product; it is definitely not a Colson or a Westfield. Westfield produced frames that look similar, Colson did not. Snyder produced that frame for a while and it was marketed under several different badges. The serial number and the sprocket both point to it originally being sold as a 1940 Hawthorne.
