Ive been holding onto this for sometime, trying to find a good time to do something with it. I got it from an uncle a while back, and it has sat and sat and sat. i started to make some progress identifying it, and have a decent idea, but would like something more solid to go on. I need to get it valued, because i would like to find it a new home. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

You'll have lots of interest in that one. Get a good valuation on it before you price it. Those go for quite a bit. Gary

A good way to get an evaluation on value is to go to EBay and look under advanced search. and look under sold items for your type of bike. See what they have SOLD for NOT what people are asking for them. You will see there are some people out there that think there bikes they pulled out of the ground are worth there weight in gold. You must also keep in mind that things that may not be correct and any thing missing form the bike that would have came on the bike originally will detract from the value. Try to find a bike that is very comparable to yours. I mean you can't value your bike like a mint Deluxe M1. Your bike is not. Just keep this in mind. You do have a nice bike but it does have some issues and is still going to need some work. One thing I would do is buy a rear tire and maybe even an original type chain guard. Clean the bike up, service all of the bearings and get the bike in good working order. I mean your talking probably less than $100 and a little work and you have a nice ridable complete bike that will be a lot easier to sell and will pull in more potential customers. That's what you want. is some competition fighting over your bike. that just means more $$$$ for you. Do this and I promise you won't regret it.
The bike has the POTENTIAL of being a $1,000- $1200 bike.
Good luck with your bike.

One more thing. These Aluminum frame bikes are Notorious for cracking in a few different places. One being around the seat mast. the other around the BB (Bottom Bracket) around the crank. and the other is at the rear drop outs and also on the front fork. As I have suggested to you, Service all of the bearings. This is a good time to look really good in these areas for any sing of cracks some are very hard to see, they are just Hairline cracks, But look for them and If you do spot a problem don't try to hide it just be honest and let everyone know about the issue when you do decide to sell.
GLWTS!!

thank you for the info. ive been thinking the same thing, in reference to putting some nice hoops on it, and at the very least, giving it a real nice wipe down. ive been looking at the bottom bracket and around the front forks, and dont see any kind of cracks, or stress issues in the aluminum. I will get online and see what i'll have into a chain guard. i will post some progress pics, as this gets rolling.
