Hi

Can anyone tell me abit about this bike,

Ive been told

"This is one of the first Schwinn Stingray concept Chopper bikes. They made these full size adult bikes in a limited number before the far more common youth version hit the streets. Expensive when they came out due to the limited numbers and at that time unknown market. This model is now quite collectable.

No frame or paint mods, so all that including the pinstripes and flamed saddle is as it left the Schwinn factory. Extras are the Bullet case dust caps, machined wheel nuts, chrome handgrips, the maltese cross rear view mirror, Front & rear lights,Chrome Horn 12v, chrome horn button press "

Does anybody know anything about these?
How many were made?
Are they collectable/difficult to find?
Cost when new?
How much would you expect to pay now?

Any help at all would be great

Forgot to say.... any info at all would be great.... but im in the UK so anyone from the UK who knows about UK prices/availability would be doublly good

Thats helped... ive now be reading up on them.

What's the opinion on these bikes, seems some people saying they are nice some saying not so good.

If anyone knows anything about 2nd hand cost that would be useful, ive found one for £400UK ($649 USD) used but fantastic condition.
