How to spread my stays?
Trying to stuff fat tires into an old frame.

Can anyone recommend, possibly with a link, any single factory produced tool that I could use to get more space in the rear? I used a the park tool for lining up dropouts.. helped. But not quite the trick.

Thanks in advance!

I use the Park Tool frame/dropout alignment sticks. I cold set the drops to match. Then I spread the rear triangle by equally unscrewing the inner rings so that they push against each other. This gives you on-going measurement and controlled adjustment of the spread.

I like that idea @SirMike1983. I did try that. You know what works great for bending frames? The park frame bender. I own one. I've owned one for a few years & used it on occasion....doh!
