Help with fork size

So I have a 1983 Jamis Earth Cruiser with a horribly rusted Springer fork on it. It's being stored out of town right now, but I'd like to order new fork for it. Does anyone know if it would be 1 or 1 1/8? Thanks for any help you can provide.

Let me know if you a problem finding one . I have a couple that came off girls Jamis Boss Cruisers . Not sure if steering tube's are long enough ?
