I'd like to date my Hercules, but it's 10 speed, no date on the hub. Probably late 60's early 70's.
They say the Raleigh made off brands like Hercules and Triumph, Robin Hood, etc, were lower quality, but I've had a few of each and they all look the same.

I'm sure the black Hercules is Raleigh built. It has the AMF decal on the seat tube. I just stripped a Raleigh built (I think) / Huffy badged, girls bike. All the parts are the same as the black Hercules. The two red ones are actually Hercules built.
