BTW I am 250 lbs.also the stem is not stock.it is a threadless stem for the triple tree forks

I think the seatpost on the Dolomite measures 28.6mm but I can't find a layback post with that measurement.
A little help here. Please

You can get a 28.6mm to 25.4mm (1") shim...and then use a 1" layback post, which are pretty common. I can't imagine there are very many 28.6mm laybacks available.

Another question. After I install my apehangers, I will need to replace cables. When ya buy cables, are they real long so I can cut to fit? Or do I look for extra long cables?

You will most likely have to go with longer cables...you can buy in bulk, or just longer than you need. Special tools make it easier/better...and depending on type, might have to pick up some ends, or ?
