the 2010 redford township I ART Festival is coming up next weekend, and we will be auctioning off this classic 1970 schwinn panther donated by the redford vintage bike club. all proceeds will go to redford arts and parks conservancy.
the festival will take place july 24 from 11 am to 9 pm, and sunday july 25 from 10 am to 4 pm. you can purchase a ticket anytime at the festival, with the drawing to be held sunday at 3pm. need not be present to win.
festival is located at 15145 beech daly, redford, mi 48239, near the southwest corner of 5 mile and beech daly, at the redford township marquee.
this free event includes:
3 stages of live entertainment
childrens hands-on workshops
artist marketplace
food and beverages available
the raffle bike is a 1970 mens 26 inch schwinn panther with slimline tank and working horn in all original condition down to the tires.
our bike club will have a tent set up with the raffle bike, some bike related art work, and whatever odds and ends we can find. we also have a section where some of our bikes will be displayed. everyone is welcome to come by and hang out, bring your rides if you want to show them off. let me know if you need any more info.
