Just joined the ranks of the rat rodders. Picked up this 1961 Schwinn American at a garage sale for $40. Not entirely sure what all I'm going to do to it yet, but it will probably end up being my commuter bike. I do know I need taller handlebars, a middleweight front fender, and the wheels are on their last legs.

I need to locate a Campus Green ladies Schwinn Collegiate for my gf so she can ride with me, and would like to get a Worksman in addition to the Schwinns.

This seems like a great forum. Glad to be a part of it.
