New guy from East Hartford,CT. I'm not new to working on bikes but I just recently started chopping them up for fun and to get better with my wire fed flux core welder. I always say I don't find new hobbies they find me, and that's what happened with cutting up bicycles. Me and my friend occasionally scrap metal and have come across a number of bikes and other cool stuff so I have amassed a decent parts pile and of course scrapped a bunch of stuff I wish I hadn't. I'm not really trying to spend money on this hobby so if any folks from the area like to barter or trade bicycle parts hit me up. I'll have pictures of my projects and parts pile.
Right now I'm building what I think is a Columbia girls bicycle, I have flipped the top tube making it a men's bike. It will be powered by a 3hp tecumseh 2 stroke.
