Hi, I'm Dan from Saskatoon, SK, I have a couple bikes that fit this site, and collecting to do more. I used to work as a bike mechanic, now I am apprenticing as a machinist. I built my first lowrider then I was in grade 7 or so. Here are a few pics:
the first one is a project I started in highschool. I moved away for school, and so it's been on hold aside from the wheels since then. I laced them up while I worked at the bike shop. it will be flamed and striped when finished
the other bike is what I built to ride to college. All scrapped parts.... used to run more mtb parts, with brakes. after I gave up on college, I remade it as a fixed gear brakeless cruiser. most of the parts are scavenged from the trash of the bike shop. when I used to ride to college, I always parked by bikes with "one less car" stickers. I like cars, so my bike said "one less pedestrian" :wink:
