Hi, here is my new bike I built. I hope you guys and get a kick out of it. I wanted to build a bike that just looks natural but with wide tires. I didn't want want to look too old or too new, I think I finally achieved what I was looking for. Changing the frame from a Multi speed to a single speed wheel, I had to create my own chain tensioner and that was a little bit of frustrating. But I put a sawsall to the kickstand and just bolted a roller wheel in the existing hole, then I had to lower the kickstand frame with a longer bolt and some washers but it seems to be working wonderful.
In order to fit the thick brick tires and the wheels they came on to the frame, I had to use some bolts on the axle in between the rear dropouts to spread the frame apart. I was lucky to be able to find the old BMX fork, and get it to fit into this frame.
