Just purchased my first vintage bike and would greatly appreciate any help I can get on identifying the year and model of this Hiawatha. Also if anyone is aware of any parts that are available, particularly the tank, that would be awesome. Seller informed me it was a late 30's early 40's model but even general info on Hiawatha bikes seems very scarce on the internet.

I just picked up repro vintage balloon tires today and found someone on ebay with the indian head badge. Someone else is also selling a luggage rack that may or may not belong to a Hiawatha. As for the pedals, I don't think they're original but again someone on ebay has some vintage pedals. Are they brand specific though?? Hiawatha pedals? I also need to replace the seat which again I'm not certain if they were brand specific or if I could just get my hands on a vintage generic brand seat.

looks more like a huffman built bike from the late 40's to early 50's. non skip tooth chain and the chain ring and the general build of the frame are why I believe so nice bike whatever year it is have fun with it
