Beginning to have a lot less parts laying around. Greased and assembled all moving parts and bearings. Mounted the Springer form. Set the bar and seat height. Attached the Stewart Warner Speedo. Gettin there.

The rear wheel is set straight. Fender mounted. Chain attached. Now I’m waiting to put the shifter on. The shifter has an off white cable and I’m looking to either match the cable or paint it to match the Speedo and go black. Depends on what I can source.

Grips are on! Currently sitting in third gear. I’m going sans chain guard. By placing 26” wheels on the bike, it allowed me to use a bent springer and keep the original crank set.

I wanted to do something different and use a brake lever to ring a bell. I need to lube the brake line even though I am getting good return of the lever when released. I like symmetry, so I wanted to use both brake levers and I’m running just a rear brake. I drilled a hole in the thumb lever of the bell and ran the brake line through. I used a crimping nut to secure the line to the underneath side of the lever. Ring the final bell!
