Very good of your friend. They look to be in great condition. I have a Schwinn Searcher that is somewhat similar to these that I really like.

Our bass player went all Trek a while back, rather than cleaning them up,
so these were just sitting in his shed...
They are straight and have a nice lugged construction.
If I didn't have my Cannondale, I'd rebuild the men's bike for myself... and I still might...
The ladies bike may end up my daughter's college cruiser...
