Yeah, I was sort of bummed about the look of the stand in the up position. Need to do some refining on that.

Maybe some stylistic extension of the chainstay that allows you to lock the drop stand in a horizontal position

I think I described the situation wrong. The whole rear triangle leaned to the left. The dropouts are parallel. I used a turn buckle to spread the dropouts, similar to using the all thread method. I cut a piece of 2x6 to fill the gap between the dropouts and laid the bike on its left side and stood on the frame and bounced a few times! Like I said, not perfect, but much better and I didn't want to tweak an 80+ year old frame any more. Or risk falling and breaking any 50+ year old bones! LOL

Here is a pic of me using the Sheldon 2x4 frame allignment tool on my Speed Demon build last year. It's quite easy and can be quite accurately applied.

Yikes, I have slipped to page 2!
Headlight update. Oil Rubbed Bronze sprayed over Copper paint. Then Arby's Horsey Sauce applied (no mustard) and top coat of Dark Steel applied.

Can't decide if I want to use the original gooseneck or not. I cleaned all the layers of paint off it hoping to find some 80+ year old chrome, but there wasn't any.

Real hard to beat that gooseneck for utter cool. Getting things chromed these days is impossibly expensive. Maybe a good chrome paint job. Some chrome paint jobs are pretty impressive.

I bought one of the Daisy built Red Ryders with the adult sized stock. That gun is a blast and has laid waste to many a can. Fun stuff.

Perhaps fold it forward, to the lip of the rear fender? Maybe kinda follow the flow of the chain?
